Devinwood Collies is the home of quality Collies well known for conformation and performance champions, as well as great family companions and therapy dogs.
At Devinwood, each breeding is carefully planned from top bloodlines. Use of quality stud dogs and dams help ensure correct Collie type, sound structure and movement, elegance, and wonderful temperaments in their offspring.
From the moment of birth, our puppies are given the best of care and socialization, including proper nutrition, vaccinations, and health and eye checks. Our philosophy is quite simple: As breeders, we have chosen to bring these beautiful and wonderful dogs into the world and therefore have a responsibility to make sure that they are placed in great homes with families that will love and care for them throughout their life.
We are members of the Collie Club of Connecticut, Tri County Collie Breeders of Southeastern NY, a District Director for the Collie Club of America and an AKC licensed judge.

Our line is genetically healthy. Our Stud has been certified by the “OFA” (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) regarding “hip dysplasia”. Our pups are all examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist, to obtain their “CERF” (Canine Eye Registration Foundation). ne Eye Registration Foundation). Our pups are all sold with “State of NY Certificate of Veterinary Inspection” as well as “Health guarentee” and “contract” so that we can all be assured that the future of each pup that we sell, will be bright.
Wellsmere Collies is proud to have qualified as a Breeder with H.E.A.R.T. Members are recognized by the AKC by meeting specific health testing standards. participating in continuing education and making the commitment to the health and well-being of their dogs.
Lynn has been breeding collies since 1966. She introduced milas collies to the United States and has raised dogs with exceptionally good temperaments. Her collies have made outstanding pets and continue to win awards. Lotta Hedman joined her in 1988 to form a partnership.
We have partnered with our good friends and mentors, Mary and Rose Robischon of Galatean Collies. We have very similar values and we both raise our collies as part of our families. It is a pleasure and joy to do things together.
